Twile and FamilySearch Integration

As of 28 Sept 2016, we can now import our FamilySearch tree directly into Twile. This is a great step forward for the timeline visualization offered by Twile.

After importing your tree, a timeline is generated showing the key milestones such as births, deaths, and marriages. Photos are also displayed.

The screen gets pretty busy if you have a lot of entries. You can view the time line for your Close Family (your descendants, immediate family members and direct ancestors), All Family (everyone in your tree), or just a single person.

If you are a paid subscriber you can also add historical events that interest you. Currently
Inventions, World War 1, and World War 2 are available.

Here is a sample of my timeline with Inventions added.

I love timelines. One enhancement I would love to see is the option to see two individual timelines above/below each other. It would make it a lot easier to compare individuals.

Interesting concept and a nice view of your family and history. Check it out at twile.com
